How to avoid sunburn and not let it ruin your holiday?

Looking for tips on how to avoid sunburn on your pale scalp, face, nose, shoulders or back?

That´s good because there are too many tourists visiting all over Spain and in the other warm Southern Europe countries who just do not care enough about the dangers of the sun.

One could say that almost everybody loves the sun (at least those who go to Spain on holidays), but nobody wants to get bitten by it 😉

Good tips to avoid sunburn

We are sure that you have heard this before…

…but in general it’s important to avoid not staying too long in the sun and of course, protect your whole body (not just nose or face) and skin.

And one important thing to remember is to do it every time when you´re outside. Not just before you go to beach, pool or any other place where you are in a direct sun.

Of course you don´t have to avoid the sun all year round, but especially in the summertime, the risk of getting a sunburn is much higher and with few little things you will avoid the risk of skin cancer.

Few easy and important things to do especially in summertime:

  • Protect your eyes (with proper sunglasses) and skin with UV clothing
  • Avoid being a too long time in the sun and stay in the shadows (instead go inside for example to take a nap or something 😀 ) when the sun is at it’s strongest hours at the noon between 11.00-15.00.
  • Use always high-quality sunscreen of at least SPF 50 for kids and everyone with pale skin and make sure that your sun lotion is not outdated.
